Even though they're all rather powerful, I'll have to say that my answer would have to be Poseidon. He was the guardian of all waters. He was believed to be extremely powerful, and with a temper to go with that power. In Thessaly he was worshiped as a god of horses, and gave birth to Pegasus. He could cause great havoc with his trident. He fathered many powerful men and monsters. He was also in the famous book known as the Odyssey.

Out of the three, Zeus, not only because he is the head of the Greek Pantheon, but also because of his universality. He is identified with Jupiter and the Sanskrit Dyaus Piter. The Sanskrit Vedas are the oldest examples of a written Indo-European language, from about 1500 BCE. In this sense, Zeus has endured in the popular imagination for more than 2,500 years. His stories are epic, his children incalculable, his powers unfathomable. His wrath is feared and his mercy entreated. He was the primary god of the ancient Romans. His temples were built throughout the empire. He was the symbol and protector of Rome. No other city-state god could claim so great an empire.

They are all brothers and almost equally as powerful.
I'd say, of them all, Hades is more "ultimate" than the others because he only once gave in to this romantic impulses (the rape of Persephone), while the others have sown their wild oats more than once.
Also, Hades has ultimate power over the dead. Not even Zeus can demand a soul be returned from the Underworld if Hades won't allow it.

ALL gods are mythological, and mythology is not limited to the Greeks. In the Greek tradition Zeus is the chief god.
But before him there was the Great Mother, from whom all the gods came.

I would say Poseidon. He is the God and ruler of all oceans, seas, bodies of water etc. I pick him cause the ocean is so vast. It covers more of the world than land. It is also so mysterious. We dont know really what it holds in the astonishing depths. BUT Posiedon knows. He is also known for his accounts of rage and display of power.
