The song's title is: "Did You Ever Hear a Dream Walking?" and the version heard in the movie was performed by Bing Crosby and recorded in 1933.
A Yahoo search on the title will find you the lyrics, and very likely a site where you can buy a CD of Bing's rendition!

This answer is a twist in a nice direction. My son, then 5, was exposed to all the children's songs his mom could find, and I helped too, but when we drove around together I had a mixed tape of my choices in the player. I never knew how much he was paying attention (or how perceptive little children are) until he asked me while the radio was playing, "Daddy, can we hear that 'Tears In The River' song again?". I needed about five seconds of surprise to figure out what he was talking about. "Oh, you mean Blue On Black!" "Yes, Daddy!" was his excited outburst. Kenny Wayne Shepherd's best ballad set my son up to listening to Robert Cray and some other blues tracks I had handy, before Led Zeppelin exploded into his conscience. Now my son is a rocker. It's mostly due to Kenny Wayne Shepherd, but also it's been recently resurrected by Black Stone Cherry's "Rain Wizard". Rock on class of 2017.

I loved that movie! Now I've got that girls voice in my head singing "have you ever seen a dream walking....well I did..."

But to answer your question, I have no idea.
