i know a lot of people know about the "Where's Waldo?" books, right? Well i would like to know where the books are banned and why. Because I heard that in some states Where's Waldo books are banned to everyone. Is this true? Where are they banned and why?

I remember hearing about this not so long ago in college when our newspaper advisor gave us a list of the 100 Banned Books and we laughed when we saw Waldo on it. But..to answer your question:

As of December 1, 2006, Where's Waldo? has been banned in several states throughout the USA. It appeared on the American Library Association's list of the 100 most frequently banned and/or challenged books in the time frame of 1990-2000. This was due to an exposed woman in the beach scene, which has been altered for later editions. ( Answers.com)

Apparently there are hidden pictures of nudity specifically topless sunbathers. Michigan is the state that proposed the ban.
