I am a brand new Partylite consultant and I am happy to try to answer your questions. From your question, I am assuming you want information on becoming a consultant so my answers will come from that viewpoint. In order to become a consultant, you host a Partylite show with sales of $350.00 or more. That qualifies you to get your starter kit with no cash outlay. The consultant who did your starter show will put you in contact with the Unit/District Leader who will have you sign a Consultant Agreement. My leader gave me a starter kit that she had on hand that very night, but you may have to have one ordered for you and wait for it to arrive. All of your demonstration products are included as well as a bunch of good training materials. They ask that you do 6 shows within your first 2 weeks for training purposes, but they will work with you on that. At least, they did for me. As a consultant you can buy products/candles for 50% off and you still get access to the monthly Hostess specials (at least most of the time).
If you want more information or have more specific questions, please let me know! I am not sure where you are located, but I am in NC and would be glad to help you any way I can.

I've never done it, but I've known a few people who did it part time. They enjoyed it, and it generated a little extra money. I think the more time you devote to it, the more successful you are.
