the thing i hate about being lied to is that your not worth the truth.

p.s this is not a love question it is just a question asking do you believe in promises or when someone promises you something you no it's a lie.

If you ask my ex-wife, the answer would be yes. To someone with a soul, the answer would be no.

well if i already know it's a lie, then that's that...i don't put hope into it. but really, promises are not meant to be broken...some people just don't know how to keep them, and it's better they say that they can't promise you something, rather than to promise and not keep it. if you know someone's promises are lies, call them out on it

most of them are made with the intention of being kept but somewhere along the line they where broken. Humans do that often, they promise something because they feel conpromised in to doing it (kinda like peer pressure). It feels bad when someone breaks a promise but sometimes its better them being broken, if you look at it in another perspective.

Sorry that that happens to people but sometimes its for the better.

Promises are not meant to be broken. That's why I never make them. Sometimes circumstances beyond your control come up and you have to go back on your word. I will not be a liar to my family, so I just don't promise. I say, "If all goes well", or "Barring any problems". I don't want to have to break my promises like others have done to me, so I don't make them.

Well for one I as a man who always keeps his promise will tell you that some guys will do anything to get what they want even if it means lieing. SO next time be careful. You can never tell what a boy will do since they haven't grown up yet.

the full factor of a promise is that it is not meant to be broken, yet in recent times the which ability of a promise isn't seen while making it. many human beings make provides you that they might't shop. that is basically the way of existence, regrettably

It really depends on who is doing the promising. If you're asking, do I believe there are trustworthy people left in this world, the answer is yes. But I'm smart enough to know who they are and are not.

Promises should not be broken. They should not be made if you don't intend to follow through.its easy to say I'm so busy not but I promise tomorrow i will--and tomorrow never come. But the person it was promised to feels the hurt.I have learned never to promise i say now i will try.

Some promises are false promises that mean nothing. But some promises will last.

Absolutely not, if you say promise, you've got to stick to it, I get in to shed loads of bother with my missus because of things I do, coming home late etc etc. . . . but none of them were promises, if I promise I'll do it
