Has anyone else seen the almost naked pictures of Daniel Radcliffe? I'm still not sure what to think. I hope it's not detrimental to his Harry Potter films.

Ya, I saw it on Mugglenet, I think some people are confuse or even mad -especially some parents- about it, they can't separate the Harry Potter character and Daniel Radcliffe as an actor, Dan is an actor before anything else, he's the dude who plays Harry Potter, he is not HP himself. In all fairness, the pictures were all nicely done. I think its OK for him to do whatever he wants to do, if he thinks its a good career move, why not. Its his life and career, anyway. I'm just a little bit concern with those little kids that can see these almost naked pictures of Dan.
And no, I don't think it would be detrimental to HP films, HP has a huge unwavering fan base.
The question is, if they going to see the play, are they going to see it because of the story and they want to see Daniel's acting or they just want to see Daniel's body?

Ok. I've never actually answered one of these, but this seems to be a "big" topic. I think that Daniel taking on this role is a great risk, and I respect that a lot. I like the fact that he's doing something completely different from his Harry Potter role, and I hope he pulls through. The pictures are just publicity shots, and he's a great looking guy. If the media wasn't making such a big deal out of this, children wouldn't have to look at these pictures anyways. I think that if you know what the play is about, then the pictures completely work. :]

Equus & Harry Potter are two very differnet projects. Yet people stupidly steroetype him into HP & ONLY HP. Dan is an actor not a charactor seen in 7 related movies. every actor or actress eventually has at least one nude scene under their belt/corset, be it gay, straight or whatever, usually more then one, & this one is basically dan's second as the first is sorta in the bath scene in harry potter & the goblet of fire to begin with!
besides, dan is NOT the first HP actor...or actress for that matter...to have nude scenes! & technically, its sorta not his first *cough bath scene in GOF cough* (i know he was wearing something that was off screen but still the audeince is left to assume.."OH! he's in a bath, who wears clothes in a bath right?") ANYway....dan's not the first HP actor/actress in this subject. alan rickman probably is...& if not..close enough. not to mention ian hart, gary oldman & david thewlis. lol
its no biggie! we all born naked to begin with anyway LOL

I don't think so. He probably wants to get out of that role anyway. I think he has every right to grow up an become his own person. Everybody else needs to chill out. As for the pics. I was shocked. I did not expect him to be THAT attractive. Which sucks because I'm like five years older then him.

i think people should realise that he is an actor...not harry potter.its his choice whether or not he wants to play different kinds of roles.i dont think its necessary for him to pose nude at his age.
but i do think its great that he is trying to be more versatile.it's not such a big deal in my opinion.people really need to stop making a fuss out of this.
