No don't do it Stand up and rage against the pop-culture machine that created this madness.
Surgery should only be done when medically necessary. Surgery is not to be regarded as a casual experience and it always carries a certain amount of inherent risks.
If you don't feel good about yourself spend the money you would have spent on surgery and give it to a therapist because the long-term results will make you happier.

I don't think it's worth the risk. You can look up breast augmentation and necrosis. There are many complications. Silicone implants have been known to cause problems. They believe that silicone implants may have an effect on your immune system. Personally I would never do it. Mine aren't that big. I'm not old enough I don't think to have the surgery but even if I was I wouldn't do it. It's up to you, but make sure that you look into both sides of the story. There are lots of longterm things that are unknown. It really is up to you. I think that you should do lots of reading up on the pros and the cons. I really hope that you make the right decision. Remember, if you're hesitant right now... don't be in a rush. Learn more about it, wait for a while, and if later on you still really want it and are no longer hesitant... then go for it :) You can always get it done later... but don't do it right now, just to find out that later you regretted doing it.

With the surgery, they have to slice 'em open, so there will be quite a bit of scarring...also, there is always the risk of the implants, er, popping. Yikes. I wouldn't, if I were you. Not even counting the risks and complications, take it from a large-chested woman: your size is GREAT! I promise that it will be harder to find clothes as a slim small D than as a B. There is also stuff like back pain, much-more-awkward hugging, much-more-difficult moving through a crowd (yeah, I've been hit in the chest many times), and bending over to pick something up turning into an R-rated thing. For a while I actually considered reduction, but I've finally made peace with my size, despite all this, and I really think you ought to as well. If you really want push-ups, I suppose that's better than surgery, but I'd just rock what you've got, personally. ;)

The grass is not always greener on the other side. I don't know how old you are but are you wanting to have surgery ever 8 to 10 years for up keep. Think long and hard on something that will change your life forever. Good luck in what ever you chose.

I got saline implants cause it won't harm your body if it ruptures 2 weeks post-op and would do it again. I have a little nipple sensitivity other wisei'm fine I just read it will go away about 3-4 weeks.I say do it if you want it. I researched for 6 months before I felt comfortable with going through with it. Good Luck on your decision its your body please yourself and NOONE ELSE.

I am one who is not for augmentations unless its for reconstructive reasons.

BUT, a good site to get some answers is http://www.breasthealthonline.com . They have an augmentation board where you can chat with other women who have had them.
