well, my friend is always getting mad at me whenever i talk about a boy that i like or going out with. but whenever she gets a boyfriend she always talks about him every second of the day, i just listen to her stories about the dude.i don't get mad as easily as her. what should i do?

Tell her that you feel it's unfair. She's being a total hypocrite. She's getting mad at you for talking about guys, but she's talking about them herself. Can you say self-centered?! If she ignores your feelings, then she doesn't deserve to be friends with you.

Tell her how you feel. If that doesn't work, set your standards higher and get a new friend that is not as self-centered. Friendship is a two way street. And life is too short not to be treated as well as you deserve to be treated.

You could start spending more time with a different friend. This one's not going to change anytime soon, but maybe she's worth keeping on a part-time basis.

Be honest with her... if she doesn't listen means she's not interested in what you are talking or simply jealous. Real friends not only share, they listen!

Change the subject when she starts talking about her boyfriend. And if she ignores you when you start about your boyfriend , just don't talk about him. Why should you talk about him if she doesn't want to hear it?
