replication is the when the DNA strand makes a totally identical copy of itself so that it can be used to reproduce(pass on genes) or to repair body cells.

transcription is wehn mRNA is copied off of the DNA in segments and sent out of the nucleus since the DnA cannot leave the nucleus, thus it sends out something similar to itself

translation is the process of creating polypeptides and proteins by using the mRNA strand and pulling it through two ribosome subunits so the amino acids can be put together in the right order, with the help of tRNA placing it in the rite position
