There are 5 people in my household and the laundry is done once a week, all day Saturday. There are usually 2 loads of towels, 2 loads of darks (blue jeans), 1-2 loads of brights, and a load of whites. That's 6-7 loads if I did the math correctly.

I have a family of 6 and I do at least one to two loads of laundry a day. It depends if I am just doing colors, which is what we wear most of, or If I wait until the next day to do colors and whites. Of course when I throw in the towels and blankets that adds another three loads per week.

I have a family of three and I do laundry daily. I have three loads a day as we do not use towels more than once. I do linens once per week. With activity clothing, etc. the loads build quickly.

we are a family of 6 and i do tons of laundry , theres always something needing washed here , if you want to get it done faster you can take blankets and towels to laundry mat and do them all at the same time , i got 2 teens and they seem to use more clothes than everyone else

I have four in my family plus one on the way (so he/she doesn't count lol). I do one load of laundry per day. On Tuesdays I do two and on Saturdays I do two! Way too much if you ask me!

I assume you're unhappy with the amount of time/resources you are wasting on clothes.
Here are some tips for cutting down on laundry...
-Everyone has two towels each. Everyone is in charge of washing their own towels.
-OR...reuse towels, use them once, hang to dry, use them again, in the basket they go...
-School clothes come off RIGHT after school, play clothes go on. School clothes are worn thrice, play clothes are worn twice.
-Pajamas are worn twice or thrice. Pick one.
Good luck. If everyone uses proper bathing/deodorant practices, clothes will not stink, and YOU will have more time/resources to expend elsewhere.
