Yes Kelly, I post this statement all the time along with many others. But I am wondering if that is why Bush gave back that 300 dollars to all the tax payers because he felt sorry for us? ha ha ? After all they are theives. So yes is the answer and we are stuck unless we can ride this pony right out on the White House lawn?
And that would be scary because we would be in deeper do do
For that is a sign of weakness to the enemy and anarchy?
More loop holes and barrackades to that theory? Feast or Famine. All or Nothing, sounds like a bad bet or Snake eyes?
Good luck

Have often said the same myself, now I wonder if they would sign the same type of AWA's the rest of the Aussie workers have 'chosen' to under the new Industrial Relations act 27/03/06
or 'workchoice' with the removal of all but five basic rights that we now have under the regime?
What was that saying from 'V'........' People should control the Government, not the Government control the people' or was it 'The Government should fear the people, not the people fear their Government'.

I wouldn't say they're employees. The term I use is public servant. The governments role is to serve and defend the people, or more specifically the rights of the people. This is not currently being done which is why Alaska is planning to leave the union.

you know what? business get tax breaks and stuff, so we pay for that too. does that mean we own the businesses? no, it does not. i hate people that say "oh, you work for the government, that means you work for me". get over yourself. did you personally hire them? did your portion of taxes pay their salary? they pay tax too you know - so does that mean they are self employed? if so, they dont need to listen to you anyway.
yes, corruption is bad, and we end up paying for it. but there are systems in place to detect and punish these people. some may get away with it, but that is life. many people get away with many things in our world. politicians are held accountable at the ballot box.
