Do you think Brett Favre should return to play another season? Remember he is only about 10 TDs away from Marino's record. Does he deserve it. I say he does, because he has been dedicated and never quits. He is one of the toughest quarterback around. I would like to see him come back.

Favre just announced this evening that he is returning to play another season for the Packers. This means that he will, barring an injury, break Marino's TD Pass record. And we all know he plays through every injury known to man.

Brett Favre should really be conisidered, and will be once he retires, one of the greatest players in NFL history. He has a championship, MVP's, records, heart and so-forth. He deserves to play as long as he needs to. The city of Green Bay believes that Favre is bigger than the city, bigger than the team, and they are right. This is a kind of player that doesn't come into the NFL that often......Favre is definately a returning legend. Playing through pain, his fathers death, his wife's battle with cancer. How can you not at least respect him?

Favre has plenty left in the tank, and his body is much better shape than almost all other Hall of Fame quarterbacks at similar career stages. He can still move around, still has a gun, and still has the consecutive games streak.
Physically, Favre is still one of the game's top Qbs.
The problem over the past few years has been impatience. He's on a bad team with few offensive weapons and so he chucks a lot of ill-advised passes.
On a good team, Favre could put up top-5 numbers. Amazing, really, how good he is physically at this age. Much better than Marino, Elway, Montana, Kelly, etc. More like the ageless Warren Moon.

i don't think of so. Favre is showing that he merely isn't the guy he was once. i think of portion of his conflict is his age finally catching up with him, so this could and with a bit of luck would be his final season. He merely isn't making the performs as wisely as he substitute into and you will locate how lots he has bogged down for the reason that returning to the league. the different subject are his receivers. they are not assisting him by dropping passes. The receivers he had final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days are out through break so he has to place self assurance in what he has, and authentic now it variety of feels he and his receivers at the instant are not on the same web site. So i don't think of the Vikings would be a achievement, and that i don't see Favre returning to his previous sort. he's incredibly lots finished because it stands.

I have to say he is an Old Legend that needs to retire before he gets hurt. I would hate to see him later in life with slurred speach.
I think he will probable hang around one more year just to break the record, you are right he does deserve it but, deserve it has nothing to do with it. If that was the case Dan Marino deserved to win a super bowl but he never did.
I am a Farve fan but I just think he needs to move on

I think he should retire, the Packers aren't gonna get much better next year and I'd hate to see him get hurt. It would be cool to see him break Marino's record though!

It's up to him if he's coming back next season. He has to decide if he wants to come back & play another year.
