Can the Wizards take the top spot?

Probably, the Eastern Conferernce is extremely weak. You could put the Warriors in there and they'd be a top contender for the title spot. But the Wizards will win the Eastern Conference, while the Warriors will finish around 8th or 9th in the Western Conference, even though the Warriors are just as good, with Harrington, Jackson, Baron Davis, Ellis, Barnes, Biedrins....all star players, and all the Wizards have is Gilbert Arenas and Antawn Jamison.

Well, it all depends on how the season actually goes. The Eastern Conference isn't doing so well and some of the low record teams are winning against teams like Detroit and Washington. I have to admit, Washington is doing a great job but doubt that they will be on top. Definitely in the top 5 but I have weak feelings about Washington on top. Detroit or maybe Cleveland will end up in the race of the Playoffs.

On the top of the eastern conference, no, they have a chance but, I think that when the season is over Detroit will have a better record.

maybe not the top spot, but definitely up there. so far i see these teams getting to the top: miami, bulls, wizards.

definetly yes they has areanas and he will keep on being his best day after day as long as they don't run into to many games with the Mavs or the suns they will
