heres the thing i dont want to or plan on having sex for a long time. but on yahoo answers ive read that people say that having sex the first time hurts and tearing ur hymen hurts very badly also. but im wondering do u think its hurts them so much because they werent ready or werent comfortable with there bf or something. also i know this is a stupid question but i mean if sex hurts then why is it so "natural" i mean breathing is natural and that doesnt hurt and walking is natural that also doesnt hurt. i feel so bad wen people tell me sex hurts because i feel like if its so natural it shouldnt hurt, do u get what im saying

any answers would help me out alot thank you

Because you are having a hole ripped through your skin, is why it hurts. Childbirth hurts like hell and sometimes you period hurts as well and these are all natural occurring events in a woman life. Just think of it like this.... It sucks being female!

It depends on the thickness of the female's hymen, and how it is first 'penetrated' ... the 'harder something is pushed in' the more it will hurt ... and a person who wants to 'prevent that pain' may use the fingers to 'strectch' the hymen slowly so that the first time doesn't hurt. And some women actually have 'no hymen' when they first have sex, because it was 'broken' earlier in their life and many times they didn't know it even happened.

It hurts because you're tearing soft tissue. But once it's torn it doesn't seal itself back up like a scrape on you leg would. Sex can hurt for many different reasons: bad angle of insertion, sensitivity level, too large of member, etc. The first time hurts but it does get better after that. You just need to know your body and figure out what works best for you.

First i should say that if you are not of age then you should not be having sex!!!!
Now with that being said i will be as honest to you as i've been to my own kids. (SIGH!!!!) Here goes!!! it only hurts the first time becuse your body hasn't ever been used in that manner. also the size of your partner might have a lot to do with it. my first time there was a sensation of stretching and a little pain but not so much that i wanted to stop. the level of arousal also helps as far as the pain goes. i don't want to go too deep so i will end this here..................hope i helped...

yes it does help if you are very relaxed --- and it may or may not hurt as the hymen is a thin piece of skin -- and may have been damaged or broken by any number of non sexual things --- it probably hurts more in the imagination than in reality
