When I try to view video from the Internet (like at cnn.com), I get a message that Windows Media Player is not detected. I have allowed pop-ups because I know that blocking them can be a problem. Does anyone have any ideas?

Enusre that you have the latest version of Media Player v.11

↓ Open Media Player
↓ Right - Hand Click the top grey tool bar
↓ Select Help
↓ Search for upgrades

If this does not solve the problem you may need to re - download Media Player.
Some site also confuse the application of Media Player for Quicktime so ensure you have the latest version of quicktime as well.

Hi. I had similar problems with WMP 11. Went back to WMP 10. Too bad cuz I liked the look of 11.
