A Sphynx cat ($600-$2000) or a Pekingese ($600-$1800)?
A sphynx cat is a hairless cat, like Mr. Bigglesworth from Austin Powers.

Neither!!!!!! Go down to your local shelter and pick out a cat or dog. You'll be saving a life!!!

Hi there. The cat would be high maintenance because it could not tolerate the sun or sudden temperature changes. The dog would also be high maintenance because of the grooming needs and upper respiratory problems. Personally, I would rescue a dog or cat at the Humane Society for about 75 bucks and donate the rest to Heifer.com so that impoverished families could have a chance to make a living and flourish. The choice is yours. Sometimes, breeding for certain traits are detrimental to the creature. Have a great year and weigh your choices carefully. Have fun.

Sphynxs are more sociable than alot of cats. They make great pets. So do Pekingese. But it's all up to you. I'd get both.

the sphynx cat. my grandma has three of them and they are the friendliest cats that i have ever met.

No offense, but why don't you go to your local pound or shelter and pick up an animal there that could soon lose it's life.
