Baked goods – especially cookies, cupcakes, candy, pastries, etc.
Cheese and crackers
Veggie tray
Shrimp cocktail or other hors d’oeuvres
Wine or other beverage of choice
Pizza
Tea and hot cocoa
Other delicious foods
While it is nice to eat healthy and practice a diet all the time, sometimes a little snack here or there might not hurt. Be sure to offer both junk food and healthy food options in case your guests have just begun a new diet. Faithful standbys like ice cream and frozen treats may best be provided by the hostess.

Photos and scrapbooks from your earlier days
Home videos and especially videos showing each other
Favorite movies, especially chick flicks
Craft projects like knitting and crocheting
Pedicure kits
Manicure kits and plenty of nail polish
Facials
Aromatherapy
Music
Girly magazines
Board games and other fun activities
During your girls slumber party, relax and revisit your past. Spend time with your girlfriends – the women who got you through all those tough times and influenced you enough to have even a slight impact on who you are today.

Take the time to go through photographs from years gone by. Enjoy every moment and take new photographs so you have more memories to hold dear. Watch an old favorite movie and reminisce about the days in college when the flick was your soul’s medicine during every bad day or every break-up. Indulge in sweet temptations, even if this is “the last time” before you start your diet.

I like the SPA PARTY idea but just do one idea, like a foot soak, massage and manicure. (Have the girls make a homemade foot soak; In a tub to cover feet add to hotish water 1/2 cup Epsom Salt, a few drops of peppermint and lavender oil and soak for 5 mins.) Massage feet, dry and massage with sorbolene cream and file and paint nails. Although this is a nice and a little grown up thing to do...don't forget they are only 13. Let them have fun, music and games, like Twister, Singstar, Charades, Dancing etc. They are not grown up yet, anyway much older people still can have fun doing these things! Let them be 13! Happy Birthday to the Birthday Girl! =D

A friend of mine had a lingerie party. She contacted a local seller of slinky lingerie and had her bring over her wares; then everyone got to look the things over, try them on, and/or purchase what they liked. Why not combine this with a makeover party too? Most Mary Kay reps will welcome the opportunity to do a home party in hopes of gaining more customers. Call one up, have her come over with samples, and you and the girls go wild! Experiment with stuff you've never tried before, or try a new look entirely. There are also reps who sell "marital aids" at home parties - ? Nothing like a box full of sex toys to get a group of women laughing!

At the age of thirty facials and eye creams, along with beauty make over theme. Maybe time for some new looks and sun screen education! Otherwise a young hot stripper[male] might do the trick!

Okay... so what kind of gals are you? If you're party girls, I'd recommend a trip to Vegas! If you aren't party girls or don't have the funds to go out of town, I'd recommend a "Girls Night Out" movie night. Get some of the girliest movies ever (one of my favorites is Grease and While you Were Sleeping) and make nachos, popcorn, and do each other's nails while you're watching movies.

Another fun girl activity is scrapbooking. I do a couple over night scrapbooking parties each year. It's fun.

2. food
3. movies
4. if you all grew up together, then ya'll can take a trip down memory lane. Old photos, high school yearbooks, etc.
5. Twister
6. karaoke

Rent a "chick flick"ie, "The Notebook", make popcorn, lie around in your jammies and chill. Also, you could get some great new beauty product,ie, hand lotion, or a hair care product, that you've found to really work great and let everyone try it. Or how about some new "hair-do" magazines for everyone to look at.

Why slumber? Rent a limo and go out on the town.

Play children's games, play music, eat ice cream.

Invent new games or adapt others. I always found that sleep overs are usually an overnight chatting spree.
