Hey there! k, so i am an asian and my friends say that i have really small eyes whenever i dont wear my glasses. Is having small eyes a bad thing? Does it look ugly or something? I mean whenever i look in the mirror up close it doesn't look small but i guess it does. Will it look bad if i get contacts with my small eyes?

You're lucky! I have small asian eyes. Sometimes one eye is a little bigger than the other. One has lids and one doesn't. Makes me look really wierd. Especially when I wear glasses. lol. Hoping to get contacts soon. No I think
Asians eyes are the best. lol

There was this trend where Asian girls were going under the knife to get larger looking eyes, but honey, I envy your eyes, Your friends are just being b1tches. First off, its a known fact that when you get older, your kids are gonna be the cutest. Secondly, alot of guys go for Asian girls because you all have that natural beauty going for you. And lastly, next time your little friends have something smart to say, comment on how weird their nose looks, because even if they don't act like it at first, THEY WILL BE PARANOID about it.
Contacts are a good thing:) make sure you go to the optometrist and have them fitted so they don't mess up your eyesight.

Your eyes are right for your face. Small, big, wide-set deep-set, double lidded or not, they are what you've genetically been given and they match the rest of you.
Having said that...there are always to enhance what you have. Make up, contacts, or in the extreme (and I don't advocate this) plastic surgery.
Experiment a bit to see what look is right for YOU, not your friends. Play with make up, make an appointment to try contact lenses or just spend some time in the mall trying different frames for glasses.
You may end up with different looks for different occasions. The key is to look like the best possible version of yourself.

I think glasses make anybody's eyes look smaller but that may be just me, but i would get contacts anway. Maybe try some eyeliner on the top but not too much on the bottom because that could make your eyes look smaller.
And to make your eyes pop more i woould use i lil sparkly eyeshadow depending on your eye color, for example
Brown - Olive green, or tan-ish gold-ish colors
Green - Beige or sparkly tan
Blue - White, baby blue, or just plain beige
Hazel - could go with either olive green or dark brown

It's probably just something they find attractive; Why do most white guys like big ****? Actually change that to all guys. Anime eyes on a real person would be f-ked up. Though actually some anime have normalish eyes.

hey there! Im asian also and I have glasses tooh, but not small eyes . having small eyes isnt a bad thing , having chinky eyes isnt a bad thing also, its not ugly also, its normal alot of asians got them small eyes all you need to do is get your contects(if you want) then put some black eyeliner on your eye bottom and top, and maybe a little bit of black eye shadow, trust me that helps, if you got small eyes the trick is to put eye liner, black eye liner

it's not bad because it's a natural asian trait. your friends are just being rude. contacts are a great idea, if you want to get colored ones it would really pop with dark hair btw. i use contacts and i'm never going back. my only suggestion is do not put eyeliner on your bottom eye lid because it will make your eyes look smaller. have fun with the contacts i'm sure it'll look great

You could look for some makeup tips on how to make your eyes look larger. Check women's magazines or ask at the makeup counter of a nice department store.
My husband is Asian and his eyes aren't particularly large but he's cute anyway :P

I love Asian eyes!! I think they are so pretty the way they are. I've heard of people having surgery to westernize their looks or something. I hate to see such a thing because Asians are so beautiful the way they are.

no, i`m asian and i never have a problem with my eyes. at first i was a little nervous about getting contacts. but it turned out fine. people and friends really likes it. they wondered where i get it from and what color should they get. don`t worry about little things like this. Everything WILL be fine.
