I can believe that. Back when I was in high school in the first week of the geography class, the instructor passed out blank maps of the US and told us to draw in all the states from memory. The results were so bad, he couldn't count them as grades and had to make it into a joke assignment instead.

you know I have so many things that I could say as to the main problems with American society, but I prefer to instead say that why would anyone want to succeed when look who we have as a president. I mean seriously, they have finally proved that anyone (and I mean anyone) can finally be president so there are no goals in life. That's my story and I am sticking to it :o)

i didnt know that but it wouldn't surprise me. i'm not an american but i had seen a u.s. tv show with interviews of average americans and i can tell that they even have difficulties to name the 50 states! that is, if they know that there ARE 50 of them..c",)
