Augusta, Maine, by a long shot.
Augusta's longitude is 69 deg. 46.769'
Miami's longitude is 80 deg. 11.155'
The lower the number, the farther east.

Krabi would be nice, the Centara Krai is a very romantic luxury beach resort which would be nice for a honeymoon. Others like Nakamandha or Tubkaak nice, but Centara would be good. You can easily go to Phi Phi Island and take the tours around Phang Nga. Koh Samui also nice and you can visit Koh Phangan and Koh Tao. But for December and January I think you would like the Krabi area
