In October I had unprotected sex (my bf pulled out, but I know this is still not good enough). My period sometimes comes at random times and its hard to really schedule when I will get it. I will get it every 28 days for a few months, and then not get in for two months, etc. However, since after the incident in October I haven't gotten my period like normal. At the end of each month I have had cramps like I was having my period and there was light blood, but not enough to wear a pad. Right now I have these symptoms again. I also have taken a few EPT tests and they came back negative. I talked to my Dr. and he told me that the test they could give me it as accurate as EPT and if it was neg. I was not pregnant. I am starting to get worried and I probably am causing this because of stress, but I hate not having guarantees. Also, if its been 3.5/4mnths, would I start to show or have any other pregnancy symptoms?? Thanks.

well, it wasnt the smartest thing having unprotected sex... however i think you are thinking about it too much, to be honest i think it is all in your head. i do not htink you are pregnant, as i also have abnormal periods. i thing you are thinking about the worse possible thing that could happen and you are starting to believe it. relax. also if i were you i would take the morning after pill if you ever have unprotected sex again... and perhaps starting the pill is a good idea (it will also regulate your period) AND remember just because you are n the pill, doesnt mean you cant get pregnant... my mom was on the pill when she concieved me.

the only thing i can say is stress periods often become irregular light and sometimes dont even come when your really stressed out doctors tests are 99% accurate but some woman can take a test and it comes up negative even if there at the late stages of pregnancy but just try to chill a bit more and make some you time and see if they start to get more regular.

My pregnancy test came back negative 6 times with my second child....I didn't start showing until I was 6 months and I didn't get positive test results until 7 weeks

go to your doctor. you're not going to be satisfied until you find out the reason behind your symptoms... and frankly, you should want to find out... it is your body afterall. If by chance you are pregnant, you'll also want to make sure that everything is growing properly.

don't take "no" -- get answers for your symptoms if you're still concerned.

best of luck.

everyone has different symptoms - some have none at all.. and some don't show at all. but that doesn't answer your question, sorry.

it still could be possible menstral changes often do happen at the beginning of pregnancy..... have your doctor do a test using your blood, this is the most accurate.... also, some women don't have pregnancy symptoms until late in their pregnancy if that.

you would just start showing after 4 months. morning sickness (vomiting) is one of the signs of pregnancy. stress can cause you periods to be erratic. you are not pregnant.
