A fish like I own, a piranha will kill a fish quite a bit larger that it. Although not every fish is like this, it is just all in the nature of the species that youre talking about.

if fish are dead other fish will nibble a little at a time to their all gone

I think the fish is just skillfull and they know where to attack the other fish to kill it.
