no that is false! Glen Jacobs (Kane) was actually created during 1996 while Jacobs was still playing Dr. Issac Yankem DDS for Jerry "The King" Lawler in WCW, during this time WWF was trying to start a new angle for Undertaker and Paul Bearer, the angle was that Undertaker set a Funeral Home on fire, that Bearer and his family worked at, killing Kane and his mother. in 1997 before Undertaker's Hell in The Cell Match, Paul Bearer gave Undertaker the news that Kane was alive and then during the Hell in the Cell Match Kane appeared and ripped the Hell in the Cell door off! Kane entered the ring and Tombstone Piledrived Undertaker! That is Kane's story!

The original Kane character was based loosley on a few horror movie characters. Michalel Myers, Hellraiser, and of course the Devil just to name afew. They debued him back in '97 at the first Hell in a Cell.

Here is a piece of trivia alot of people dont know about, and it only happened once.

The Undertaker was introduced in his debut match as : Kane, "The Undertaker".

Just wanted to throw that in there , Paul Bearer walked him down, with Ted DiBiase.
