I only went into labor with my first, but have heard countless war stories since...

With my son, I was really tired in the morning, and slept in (you are ALWAYS tired at the end of a pregnancy). By around 4PM, I was feeling GREAT, and wanted a relaxing evening. My mom was staying with us, and we just got everything ready for going to the hospital, and general cleaning. I did have enough energy to make a great lasagna meal.

After that, I just COULD NOT sleep!! So I stayed up and read a book. At 2:49AM, my water broke, and I went into immediate labor. (Think 1 in. dialation to an 8 in. within 30 minutes). My son's head was WAY too big, and we had to go C-section after an almost text book vaginal delivery. I was able to get an epidural with this pregnancy about 3 hours of labor. It was awful to actually get it, but once it was in, you cannot feel a thing! (I fell asleep after I recieved it.)

Other countless women I have spoken with said they felt like they had really bad menstral cramps all day long with bad back pain. It just progressively grew worse and more painful until they had their baby, or had an epidural. ;)

The only symptom I can remember started on a Thursday afternoon and ended on friday night(my lil man was born sat morn) was horrible acid indigestion...I mean I could not even breathe without it comming up to my throat and burning! It was horrible, no matter what I ate/drank/did, it would not go away.....when it went away about I would say 10 pm, I went to bed, my water broke at 2:02 am sat and I had a new baby 8:21am sat!
