if you owe, it doesnt matter how old that child is today... or even if they are getting married by now.

cant out run the child support until they are 18 any more, the courts are onto that little trick.

if you did pay, and dont have the papers (you dont keep your cashed checks from your checking account?), you will have to pay it.

how much did you pay back then? $20 a week?

.

robbie j... You're a dumb a$$. Child support isn't "looking for an easy buck". Obviously something is not right. They are not going to look for back child support from a case where the children are over 30 years old. You should start with where they are sending your money to. Or maybe the "children's" mother. If that didn't work I would contact a lawyer. Consultations are usually free.

Has someone been using your identity? I would be checking on this, call the Friend of the Court office that sent the papers to your employer, see if your employer will give you copies of their paperwork so you have a ID #, You may have to go to the court and ask them to show you a court ordered child support claim, then submit to the court your personal infor etc. Check your credit report if someone is using your ID then they may have gotten credit cards, loans etc in your name.

contact an attorney and set up a hearing. Press charges against her for fraud. Good Luck. I'm sure you want to kill her but don't.
