i know it's a little early to be thinking about, but i have 2 male gerbils, and they are littermates, so they've been together they're entire lives, but this summer my family and i are taking a vacation to washington d.c., and of course we can't take my gerbils, because of all of the times we will be away sightseeing and such, plus not knowing how trustworthy the maids are. Anyway, while i'm gone, how do i make sure they have the best possible care? Will they fight? Will they have enough food, water, chewing supplies, etc..? anybody have experience with this? what do i not do? will they remember me when i get back? anything will help!!

thanks for answering!!

gerbils don't care who they r with just as long as their cage is clean, have water, and have plenty of food.find a gerbil loving friend that will care for your little runts! :)

tell whoever watches them not too handle them too early as they might get bit due to the fact the gerbils wont know their scent
