An abortion will be half that or less. Go to planned parenthood.

Well you may not like this idea but you could opt for an open adoption. That way you could still see your child but at the same time know that they are being raised the right way with everything that they need or want. I was adopted in the second grade. My mom had 4 kids out of wedlock with the same man. They were together off and on but life was tough growing up. I'm not trying to force you into this decision, i'm merely trying to provide an option to you. That or you and your baby could recieve help from the welfare system. It's not charity it's just there to help mothers out when they need it.

Not to sound calloused but...
You could give the baby up for adoption. At 17, you have some life to live before you'll really be able financially to take care of a baby. I have a friend who did that and she's glad she did even though she now has 2 at home. She simply wasn't ready at the time and wanted her son to have the best life possible. It was a great comfort knowing that for her.
If you choose to keep the baby, then I would scrape together the $500. This puts you in the driver seat for pursuing child support. You should also talk to a crisis pregnancy center and they'll be able to direct you to services that you have available to you as a teenage mom. (Which are many)
Hope you figure it out.

Whatever you do, don't listen to that person above named dakirk123. Talk about a horrible answer!
Don't give your child up for adoption. You'll hate that you did years from now.
And if the dad won't help, that's his loss, that he doesn't get to experience this part of the child's life.

No no no, the test can be done through the county's child support division and will not cost anyone anything.

The only thing that will completely convince him is a paternaty test.
at this website https://www.gtldna.net/?src=overture
you can order a $99 paternity test which is probably more in your price range, good luck.

He doesnt believe that youre pregnant or that hes the father? My personal opinion, if he wants the test done he should pay for it!!!! You should tell him that....he should take responsibility for what he's done!!

If you take him to court for child support, they will do a paternity test at no charge to you.
