Wow! My mouse stopped working and I had to reboot to get it going again. I felt helpless! Has this ever happened to you?

yes loads all you do is hold power off few second and reboot ,normally trying to get my computer to do to many things at once gets this.

It happens to some systems, I am a hardware tech for a living. it could be the system just needs to be cleaned, to much dust built up in it. it could be not enough ventilation around the case or it could just be that a file has gotten corrupted and that's what killed it.

Yes becuase I have an optic laser mouse and forget to recharge it

yes , sometimes you have too many tabs open and your computer doesn't know what to do . it gets busy. it freezes.. close out everything you are not using.and sometimes if you leave your computer for awhile and not using it while it is on, it will freeze.

put it in the microwave for 2 minutes

just press the keys control alt and delete.that usually frees it....
