Politically correct people often tend to avoid the truth because they feel that it's not PC to admit certain things even if it's painfully obvious. Society does not benefit from avoiding truths.

It benefits no society West, East, etc...
All PC does is increase stereotypes and fear which are breeding-grounds for racism.
Scientifically everything has an opposite. Up-Down, Left-Right, Light-Dark, Women-Man. My point is, we will never have complete peace and harmony amongst human beings. Love can't exist without hate and vice versa. Everyone is not gonna like you, but at minimum, you can demand to be respected. PC is legalized compromise or band-aid. Your white, I'm blacks, she's skinny, he's fat, whatever, find away to get along.
It all boils down to respect, especially within a society, be it work or your neigborhoods.
Example, when I was in college, I had knew a guy that spent his entire life convinced that blacks jumped higher and ran faster, because we had an extra muscle in our bodies. He was to PC to ever ask a black person for the truth so in our biology class he got the nerve to bring it up. Every white person in the class heard that stereotype as well. The professor asked someone to show him where this extra muscle was, nobody could, because its not true. We are seemly great altheletes because any minority regardless to what you do has to be better in order to be recognized. See what PC could have done to him if he would have kept his mouth shut?

i've got self belief in calling a spade a spade. Political correctness IS destroying Western society once you may no longer tell the reality. enable's say you have XYZ team of folk and that they are often heavily in touch in xyz team of criminal activities. Political correctness intentionally tries and is especially designed to give up you figuring out that xyz team of folk with that xyz team of criminal activities. Which somewhat we could them get away with it and people provide up. Then everybody thinks 'nicely, if can not beat 'em, connect 'em' and as a effect starts the decline of the civilization.

The whole idea of Political Correctness is to turn people into "little brainwashed sissies that need to be guided by the liberal establishment".
THEY WILL TELL US HOW TO BE SENSITIVE TO THEIR NEEDS AND WANTS.

I think it's destroying it. If we got everything out in the open & dealt with it, out world would be a better place.

I think that it is definitely destroying it.
Blacks are not African Americans. They are AMERICANS of African descent if they were born here. If they are off of the boat, then they can be african americans.
Or...simply call them black. Black people who insist that people call them brown should just grow up and be proud of who they are instead of being ashamed.
