Why don't more women work in adult entertainment? If I was an attractive woman, that is what I would do because I could accumulate a ton of money and build a nest egg.

Adult entertainment is degrading to both those participating and those who view it. There are far better ways to make money then to become a sex toy for some male.

More? There are hundreds and hundreds of women who do. It is all about supply and demand. The more women do it the less money they will get from it. Things are well balanced at the moment. $1500 for a double pen scene is all some girls get. So there are so many of those you do before you bits and pieces loose their luster. Further, unless you are Nina Hartley you can only work for 5 or so years before you drab out. Most are lucky to get more then three scenes! How much money do you honestly think is out there for the masses?

I use to. It feels great for awhile. All the attention and money is very seductive. Then oneday you just feel used. And there's always a prettier, younger, hotter girl whose willing to lose her dignity. So the smarter girls stay away from it. By the way, what I did was I worked at a dance bar....pole dancing.I wasn't real good at it, but I was great at getting guys to waste their money and buy me drinks, which I also feel a LITTLE bad about.

You're naive. VERY few women make any real money at it, your Jenna Jamesons aside. I have never met a rich stripper, and most porn stars are actually paid very little. And it doesn't matter what you are paid, it's not worth it. There are other ways to make money, and keep your self respect and soul.

I guess because a lot of women think it's undignified and trashy, or they go by the whole "my body is my temple" philosophy. I'm with you though, I think that if someone can get a good career in adult entertainment they should go for it.
