I received an e-mail to have an interview with a Princeton alumni. Does that mean I'm more likely to get in? Or do all applicants have interviews?

Interviews for Princeton are fairly standard. People receive interviews based on the availibility of alumni rather than how good their credentials actually are.

My interview with Princeton was nothing special. A man and I met at a coffee shop and we just discussed what he did at Princeton. He barely asked me any questions, and for the most part, it was pretty awkward. The interview, to Princeton, has little to no bearing on your actual acceptance, it just is a way to ask questions from someone who actually went there. Unless you say something absolutely obnoxious or say something absolutely amazing, I highly doubt it will affect your admission status. Hope this helps!

P.S. Princeton is amazing.

I would imagine that everyone has to have an interview. High caliber schools like that generally do.
