A football is punted with an initial velocity of 27.3 m/s and an initial angle of 54.1 degrees. What is its "hang time", i.e. the time it takes for the football to hit the ground again.

find velocity in y direction by using sine. turns out to be 22.11m/s. then use v=v+at. 0=22.11+(-9.8)t. turns out to be 2.26 seconds. multiply by two for up and down to get 4.51seconds.
