alright, my step dad molested me (i'm still living with him)and my cousins keep on calling me fat a&& it hurts very much and all this pain i'm going trough no one seems to care.one of my cousins that constantly calls me these names molested me to, i tried to tell his mom but she doesn't believe me and thinks i'm trying to put her son in jail.i've been sexually abused by more family members but it would just be a long list.i'm 18 now and don't know if i'll be graduating high school or not.this whole drama i'm going through takes away from me being focus in class. i want to tell my guidance counselor but i'm scared if she will tell. i want to tell some one my problems.i can't tell my mom because when i told her i lost my virginity at 7 to a family member she said nothing ever since my freshman year.
do you think my guidance counselor will tell?

I'm honestly not sure if your guidance counselor would tell or not, only since you are over age 18. Are their other children in either house? If so, then the counselor will definitely tell. Counselor are bound to confidentiality by law, but in the case where an elderly person, a child or a handicapped person is being abused, counselor, psychologists and clergypeople are all required to report it, even if it breaks confidentiality.
That being said, you should still talk to the counselor. If you're 18, you're old enough to move out and your counselor could help you find resources to help. There are usually lots of social programs aimed at helping abused women through groups like the YWCA. She could also hook you up with people who could help sort out whether you can take any action against these family members. Your counselor will not just call the police and tell them what you said without making sure you are taken care of - and that is more than you can say for your family!

omg!! OK well this is what my friend has to say!! ok well i am 14 years old and if i was u i would run away or move out and if u cant move out then tell someone!!! tell someone fast cause one day they might molest you and maybe even kill you and u still have ur whole life ahead of u tell someone quick and even if they tell others it is still worth shouting out for help i mean when i was 10 years old i almost got molested by my step dad thankfully my mom got home from work early and caught him and nearly killed the dude!! they are now divorced!! and if ur cousins make fun of u and call u fat then ignore them they just want attention!! and if u are a big girl then who cares i am 5"2 and i weigh 122 and i think i am way too fat but you know like my mom always tells me it doesn't matter what u look in like on the outside it only matters what u look like in the inside and too me you sound strong and beautiful!! and if u have any other questions to ask just ask me my email is pinkrox1234567@hotmail.com just talk to me and i Will help you!! u Need to tell on your abuser's, and get some therapy. seems to be no one in your home that u can count on. tell your guidance councilor the truth, u need someone u can talk to. these people who hurt u deserve to be punished. if u don't get some help u will suffer your entire life and believe u somehow deserved all this, but u didn't, u are the victim here.

being fat is a choice.and we can do something about it.go on a diet,exercise and no vices.like what i did.before everything in me was low,self confidence,self esteem and i was very insecure in all aspects.one day,i kept thinking...do i really want to look like this all my life?and there i started..its not easy but its even harder to be as fat forever.make a choice,dear.what you are in the inside is important,but it would really help if we would reduce some weight to make us look good as in whats in our heart..about your step dad,your mom, cousin and his mom.. make a letter for them,telling them that it serves as the last warning.if they do that again,you will make them regret all their lives.be strong..be brave..stand for something.. for your future.people will put you down only if you let them..your past we cant change.but there's a future ahead for you.good luck,girl.and i will be prayingfor you... michelle
