Everyone that goes on this show has obviously watched the previous seasons. To go there looking like they look or sounding like they do, they should be expecting it. C'mon, if you had to deal w/this stuff for 6 yrs wouldn't you get a little annoyed?

It's the JUDGES I feel sorry for!!! They're the ones who have to sit through hours of horrendous ear-damage!!!! Seriously, is there ANYONE who goes to audition for American Idol who can actually sing?? My Gosh!!!!! And when the judges tell them no, they won't shut the hell up, they just make a big scene and waste the judge's time!!! They're freakin' idiots!!! Can they not HEAR themselves??? It's like, "you SUCK, so get the picture!!!!" It's pretty sad that there's only like a couple people that's actually made it so far!!! What happened all all the good talent??? It makes me not want to watch American idol, and it even gives me a headache!!! I mean, are they so desperate that they must use Paris Hilton?? Give me a break!!! Is there no justice in this world???

I agree... I feel that last nights show on 1/30 was HORRIBLE. It wasn't even amusing in the least. They now only seem to show the really really bad people or the people the judges rip to shreds. They rarely show the people that can actually sing that we might want to see. I think the show is starting to wear thin...

I do however enjoy watching Paula Abdul freaking out for no apparently reason. Fox can't claim that's crossed wires in the interviews. She's on pills and alcohol, but can't seem to hold it together enough like Karen Walker.

No it's not getting too mean it is getting ridiculous. the people that audition are freaks and wanna be singers. they have as much personality as a wet noodle. It is difficult to see all the people that come there.
and not get rude to some for being rude to Simon. Paula and Randy.

It's TV! Would you watch it if it wasn't entertaining. The weird/strange people, rude remarks make the show--of course later on the music is enjoyable too, but hey at the beginning that is what itss all about. C'mon look at some of those people. What makes them think they can go on TV & sing! Everyone enjoys it, look at the stats of people watching-MILLIONS!!!! For those who complain & think its rude, dont watch it!

Well, in a way it is. They are focusing too much on the "comedy" of the bad contestants. I don't think the comments are meaner than they were other years, though.

I don't think so. Some of those people need to hear the truth. I think Simon was meaner the first season.

I think it's cruel for people to put the judges through the auditions. So many of them don't sing well enough that you want to hear to whole song.
