Ok, I just asked a friend and she told me that Paula Abdul was on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Golden Globes Awards night, and gave out the news about Cowell posing for Playboy. But I've just done a browser search and it seems that it was just an interview with him and there are search result headlines "Simon Cowell poses for playboy", but when I click on these, nothing comes up. So, I don't know what the real thing is, but just as you said, guys pose in Playgirl, not Playboy... so it's most likely just an interview with Cowell and nothing explicit.

I have this months issue of PlayBoy. And yes, Simon Cowell IS in it. And yes He's posing. Page 47 and 48.
But no, it's not explicit, and you were completely correct, it's an interview...and him posing, fully clothed and in a chair with a cigarette. Hope this helped! ;)

Why would Simon Cowell pose in a female magazine. That is a magazine where the women pose. Not the men.

playboy has women in it not men, He might have done the celebrity interview. Playgirl is where men pose and I doubt he did.
