Golly, I would LOVE it if my sister's kids were playing Star Wars. Who doesn't love Star Wars? In any case, John Williams (the composer of Star Wars) is pretty much the most famous composer in the world. His work, including Star Wars, is amongst the best orchestral works of the past 100 years. He has won tons of awards. I'd be honored to play it.

Besides, it is not like you picked out the music, anyway. So there is nothing to be embarrassed about. Practice hard. Play well. Then don't worry about it. Your insecurity is making this into something more than it really is. It is not like you're performing a kazoo solo of "Super Freak" in your underpants or something.
