My Dr called me today about some blood work I had done and I have low iron and iam already iron supplement's.he said that it could be from heavy period's and want's to try a producre..What can that be??

I would ask him what the procedure is that he wants to do. More then likely it is a DNC. They go in a scrap some of the tissue out of the uterus, to reduce blood and tissue shed. If it is a DNC, they aren't that bad. I had one about three years ago. I had a little cramping for a couple of days but that was it.

Perhaps extra strong iron tablets or some form of medication to help stop heavy periods . Whatever it is, its nothing to worry about. Sorry I could not be more helpfull.
