You have to be very snoopy and ask ALOT of questions. A few weeks later ask the same questions and see if the story has changed.

When someone is telling a lie their body language changes. Usually when people lie they do one or two things like; they might not look you in the eye, they might act a little nervous, switch from one foot to the other, twirl their hair or fiddle with something else with their hands, blink alot or whatever body language is different for them. Take the time to watch that person's body language when you know they are telling the truth and then watch it closely when you think they might be lieing. There are websites that teach how to read body language, just do a search on it.

Use reverse physchology. For instance my worthless ex was working as a bouncer in a strip club. I knew something was going on- (I just had a feeling) So I went to the club with him and just sat at the bar. When I finally seen the girl he says was a "friend" I only said hi to her and basically it was nice to know her. I then said " fire told me about the lapdance you had?" I totally made this up. It was then he said to me "It was with a dollar I found - and it was only once" I was sick to my stomache and to make matters worse I was 6 months pregnant with his kid. So make something up, act like you know.........sometimes it works. Good luck. I HATE liars!

Yes hire a private detective or follow them or even take them on the Maury show and make them take a lie detector test.

Everybody lies. Depends upon the stakes. The truth is easy when it's cheap. If the worst answer is a condition upon your relationship, then don't ask the question. You should know him/her well enough to know the answer before you ask. :Does this dress make me look fat"? " No it's the fat that makes you look fat", so what is it you want to know?
