If you are trying to loose wieght you should walk at least 10,000 steps a day. but the average steps you take a day are 5000.

Not enough... The last time I had a pedometer with me it only registered just over 3200 steps. Some say to be healthy we should strive for 10,000

Well i got a pedometer once to check this and it was about 11000 as i walk to school and back twice to take the kids then pick em and other bits of walking in between like working also.

depends on the person and what they do, i walk to school and its long way so i might take more steps than some people who drive to school.
