My eyelids always get 'greasy' in the day. It always smudges my eyeliner, and I cannot wear eyeshadow because it will form in my creases of my eyelids. How do I prevent this greasiness? PLEASEEEE HELP!

seems like u are oily skin but not all over ur body. some ppl have combination skin ( mix of dry oily or normal oily skin)

( i guess all of ur nose chin and fore head will be a bit extra oily, as this is called the T zone)

to avoid extra moisture on ur eyelids you can use moisture control skin products.

Which ever is ur favourite brand, they will have the complete system of cleanser + toner + moisture control cream. (Artistry by Amway is my favourite brand)

extra herbal remidy is take half a lemon juice with 1 glass of water every morning. this will cleanse u inside and reduce the fat in ur body and skin.

You can even rub left over lemon peal on ur face and than wash it off ( trust me )

Before putting any make up on, use powder foundation or moisture control foundation. some pd foundations can be patted over the make up during the day as well without having to remove the makeup.

All the best.

I get the same problem even if I use the special non-creasing eyeshadows. Basically all I do is put a little foundation on as base then powder to set, then the colour/s then powder again. During the day I gently press a tissue to my lids making sure I don't wipe and voila! oil removed.
Also I have discovered a little wonder in the form of little powder sheets that you press against your greasy bits and they absorb all the oil! You can get them from Avon and all good chemists!

Unfortunately, eyeshadow is not made to stand up for all day use. They want you to have to re-apply during the day because the more you use, the more you buy.

When doing your makeup in the morning, apply foundation to your eyelids at the same time as your face. Let it set. Apply powder to your face and eyelids. Let it set. Then apply your eyeshadow and liner and mascara.

Change your cleansing routine to match your skin type. You seem to have combination skin (normal in some areas, more oily in others). Only use eye cream at night, not in the morning. Use moisturizers for combination skin to prevent the oiliness later in the day. Also, drink 8 glasses of water a day! Your skin will look better.

It will help. Good luck!

Use a translucent powder over your lids. Then apply a good eyeshadow primer (I suggest either Benefit's FY Eye, Laura Gellar's Eye Spackle or Fresh's Freshface Eye Primer). Give it a second to set then apply your liner (using a good gel based waterproof liner will help it smudge less - ie, Stila Smudge Pot, Smashbox Cream Eyeliner or MAC's Fluidline). Then place more translecent powder over it to set that. Although it has more steps, you will hopefully get better results.

Put a foundation on your face and be sure to put it on your eyelids as well. It is basically invisible and it will keep your eyelids from getting greasy. Hope this helps :)

Try a good eyeshadow primer. My skin is just oily in general and this usually happens to me too. Urban Decay makes a good primer, as well as MAC Cosmetics and also BeneFit. Most of these can be found at Sephora (except MAC, found on maccosmetics.com). Hope this helps!

There are new makeups these days that can really help. Have you seen or tried "Bare Minerals"? They have an eyeliner that won't run, and a powder called "Well rested" that will keep your lids grease-free. You can even use their eyeshodow. They sell it on QVC.com

First put a translucant powder on your eyelids, then put on the makeup, and coat again with the powder. That will seal it. It works.

hi are you using a foundation and translucent powder before you apply your makeup. applying a base should stop the smuding and creasing. have you tried moritz cosmetics - we use them all the time and have not had complaints from clients
