I’m tired of going to college. What age did you stop going to school? I don’t like stressing over tests and Homework and projects.

"You sound really boring."

Okay, that was rather rude!

"How can you be tired when you can get co-op programs, internships, study abroad, clubs, and general school spirit? ^_^"

My parents don't want me to do that and i have to apply for internships. Study abroad? I have to apply to that too and I don't know if my parents can afford it right now. Clubs? Been there done that. I quit before when I joined. Noone wants me in their club. It felt like I got kicked out of one. and there's no club currently that I like to join or is in my interest.

"It sounds to me you are really wasting your college years AND MONEY!"

True. but I thought college was all about finding your path and your future career? Not fooling around and going on spring break, sleeping around and slacking off!

Overall, I get what you mean, but couldn't you have made it a little nicer? Replied nicely? or left out the boring part?

Thanks for the help everyone though, but I think I'm ready to quit school after getting the AS degree. I hate school. I've always hated it! Never was liked by noone and vice versa.

Gonna start family very soon after graduating and finding a job(career) that will satisfy me in life.

by the way, if you all didn't know, I've been going to school for 17 years!
preschool, kinder-12, four years of community college.

It sounds like you might be burnt out. Getting your undergrad degree is definitely worth it, but if you are sick of it, I highly recommend taking a semester off and working. I got burnt out/depressed at college, and took a semester off, then finished up and graduated. Taking time off was the best thing that I ever did. I don't really like school either, but after coming back, I was able to just focus on finishing and get through it all.

I also had issues with not finding clubs that I liked, struggling socially (even though I didn't struggle socially before or after college), etc. It really makes it a less-than-fun experience, and I am sure that is coloring your experience. It is especially frustrating when everyone tells you that college is supposed to be the most fun four years of your life. Trust me, not everyone feels this way. I was much, much happier in the first year that I was out of college than I was during the four years in college. I loved working and being in control of my own life. I loved leaving work at the end of the day and then feeling like my time was my own, and not feeling like I should have been studying or doing homework. It was amazing!

Stick with school, though. It is worth it, I promise! Even if you need to take a little break to get there. Eyes on the prize. Put your head down and power through. I know it doesn't sound that fun, but that degree is worth it.

Tired or frustrated?
Didn't get the guidance you needed?
HAving test anxiety?
Weren't shown how to break down such things into smaller pieces?
Need a tutor, maybe?
That's all.
You need the one person who can work with you and make it all feasible for you.
That's where your stress comes from.
Education today, especially public education, has become burdened with bomb drills and family issues and teaching to tests.
You need someone to sit with you and give you a sense that you can master things.
Go find that person.

what's better stressing over tests and exams for a comparatively short while or stressing over whether or not you will be able to pay the bills for a lifetime? I think the lesser of the two would be to stick it out and eventually your hardwork will be rewarded.

Don't tell me that you're tired! I still have two more years of high school and then four years of college.

It's a very small sacrifice to what you will come to in the real world. Stick with it!!!

I guarantee you it will pay off in the end.

Working at McDonald's is also very stressful, I mean, if your parents decide not to support you forever.
