I was on prozac 20mg and started 40mg, does the 40mg take effect immediatley, or does it take a while?

I don't feel any difference :(

It takes a week or two for the new dose to take effect. Depending on the person it could be sooner or later, everyone's body is different and handles medicine differently. Give it two weeks and then see how you feel.

It can take 4 weeks before you see a difference. Don't give up the results will be worth it.
