As I lay this lonely night
The darkness around me like a lonely shroud

Great question! I never forgot him and never will. Its along time ago, and the story is a long one. So I will spare U! I was younger than him, but lied and we dated 2 yrs then he asked me to marry him, and I said not yet. He was cool with that. Then a yr after that he ask again, thats when I told him my lie, well U know it did not go well. He threw the ring, chapagne etc. So everytime I hear that song by Dr. John I was in the right place, but at the wrong time, I think of him. Sorry think I still made my answer to long.
