I really respect the fact that you are trying to pursue who you really are; it's inspirational but...

You are only 18 and there is no immediate rush. Take things slowly so there is no regrets - it's YOUR life and no one else's. Wait until you are 100% ready - you'll know when and no one else.

All the best for 2007 x

get the surgery as soon as possible. The longer you have testes the more male your body will look. It's not fair but your quality of life and even your very life will depend on how well you pass as a genetic women.
Another reason is it really is not fair to begin a relationship with someone when are still going through the process of transition. Anyone that you go with will only be with you because you have a penis. Actions speak louder then words, they may say they are with you because you are a women but if they sexually enjoy your dick well that should tell you something.
If you want to have kids freeze your sperm do not use a women just to have kids with and then later on get the surgery.
I hope I have pointed out all your fears.

It is a big step yes. I'm not quite sure how you are going to decide on this. If you are uncomfortable with your body because it is changing with the hormones then maybe it would be a good time to do it.

If you are happy with the way everything is going then don't rush into. You probably still have a bit of physical growing to do. It's good that your prospects are promising - guess you just have to make sure that you are mentally ready for it.

Have you been able to talk to friends and family about it. If they have a confident reaction about it that is definately promising because you now then if you do go through with it that you have their support.

Good Luck - I admire you.

If you need to ask this question then the answer must be no. Wait until you are absolutely certain in every aspect because there is no going back. Wait until you have lived full time and all doubt has gone.

95% of M2F transsexuals chose to keep their penis. giving it up woudl mean you won't ever be able to experence orgasms every again... plus, once it's gone, it's gone for good..

i'd think long and hard about this.. try going full time as a woman without the surgery and see how it goes for a year or two.. you may decide you don't need to go all the way..

Do what is right for you. Transitioning isn't the same for everyone. this is something you'll have to figure out on your own, but there are many of us on here if you have any related questions.

Only you can really answer that. You have to do what is right for you. You have plenty of time and have come so far, so take you time and see how you feel.
Good luck
