What is the eternet plug for in the back of my XboX ??? And what do I have to do to be able to play dvd's with it rather than have a separate dvd player??

U can buy a dvd remote for the xbox theres 2 pieces the remote and a unit u plug into the front of the xbox u can buy one for around $39 and the eternet is for xbox live

the ethernet (not eternet) is for playing games online
to play dvd's just insert the dvd in the xbox
(normally how you would play games on it, but instead of a game you put a dvd)

The ethernet output is so you can go on xbox live and play with other people over the internet. Just put your dvd into the xbox and it should play. You can use your controller as a remote.

the ethernet cable is to play online using xbox live well to play a dvd u just put it on the xbox 360 and thats it
