The Brits stopped that plot to kidnap a British Soldier of Muslim origin and behead him on the internet in order to show their support for terrorism. The reason that they were able to stop this was WIRETAPPING THE SUSPECTS. I've heard it said that this could not have been done in the USA because the Liberals will have a screaming fit. I guess they'd rather see the beheading.

Yeah! Clinton foiled terrorist plots. RIGHT! Here's a clue, Clinton facilitated terrorist plots with his inattention to the developing situation due to his many dalliances!!

Christians would say... Brother Mixxed... or if your a girl....Sister Mixxed. The reason is we are all brothers and sisters in Christ. Opps, sorry, I came back to finish the question...I pushed too early...LOL The plural "brethren" is generally used for members of an organization, especially a religious body, whereas the plural "brothers" is used in the familial sense as well as for larger group. Therefore, if a pastor is talking in front of the congregation and say Brethern...he is talking to everyone in the audience

Wrong. This could have been done in the USA, it simply would have required a warrant (which I'm pretty sure the brits need too). But if someone is indeed a suspect (as you declare with capital letters) then getting a warrant is a fairly simple matter.

The "liberals" as well as most reasonable conservatives (including myself) had a screaming fit over the warrantless wiretapping of American phones under authority that the president made up.

Our constitutional rights should not be abridged or limited, Bush attempted to remove some of our fundamental rights. Most conservatives I know are against it.

I Don't know that might be the only good thing they've ever done. So good job. But, sorry can't bring myself to salute them. And umm.. excuse me young child yes you right above me with the black hair. Well, I'd like to see you do better then President Bush. And, seeing as you can't I suggest you don't talk about it.
I pledge allegiance to the the flag and to the USA and to the Republic of which it stands One nation Under God indivisible with Liberty and Justice for all. Land of the Free and Home of the Brave~

salute. The only thing that would have concerned the libs if the plot wasn't foiled is that the terrorists used a disinfected sword.

That's a great point of how we argue over the topic of tapping phone lines here but...what if we could just tap the phone lines of people who we have sufficient information already on and who are suspects? How do you know thats not what happened with the British?
