By accepting the fact that life is complex and to deal with things as they come instead of stressing yourself out. Most, if not all, people make their lives very complicated because they want it all. Figure out what is important to you (family, friends, career, money, etc.) and stick to it. The most important thing is not to sweat the small stuff. People make a mountain out of a mole hill with the silliest things. Just appreciate life and make it better for others and you will live happily.

Be honest and straightforward about who you are. Don't worry so much about what other people think of you. When you waste your time around people that make you miserable you are taking time away from meeting people with your same values and who may understand your life better than the people sucking you dry of all your energy. Don't worry about making anyone else happy other than yourself. The rest will fall into place.
