It is rare that you would have to operate on a turtle, and there are not many anesthetics that work on them in the first place.

If you have to do it, you would start with a bone saw to carefully cut a small window where you needed it.

you wouldnt have to !!! if you dont want the turtle or think its dieing put it ina canal ... but dont try to operate it !
