Yes, racism is alive and well in America, not well but alive. They are working on hate against him, they accuse him of being a muslim and he is a member of the First Weslin Church in Chicago, anything that they can say without calling him the N word out loud in public they will say but most of the hate for him is raced based.

Even though personally I would vote for Obama, I think his race will hurt him. Not because being black is bad, but because this country has not and will never progress past the racial attitudes of the 50's. Especially in the south which will always be stuck 50 years in the past. This country is far too ignorant and racist to ever elect a female or minority.

Help.
I look at him as Barack Obama and I am learning every day about him. He is a very good candidate so far in my camp. I actually believe the American people in the far majority are seeing and appreciating people for who they are and what the stand for.

Race will not hurt Osama Obama. I think America is ready for black and women presidents. Religion on the other hand will hurt Obama. America is not ready for a president that is not Christian.

His race won't affect his chances either way. The ethnic name could hurt his chances a little, unfortunately.

I'm discovering that it is African-Americans who don't like him or don't trust in him. So I'd say if he's not gonna win, say thank you to the brothers.
