Well my dear the answer is very simple you learn about the soap making industry by going through it and researching it via internet or local library, how to start one is even easier but drawn out first find out if you want to start a sole proprietorship, C corp, or LLC. Then come up with a business name, and location where you'll be operating. First make soap. Check it out, its a bit different. My sister made her own soap for years, with Lye (nasty stuff).
Then do you know anything about business?
Thats the bigger part, understanding how to do business.
Check it out, its hard.
